Jennifer Lambo Coomes, LMHC
I have dedicated my academic and professional career, from undergraduate through graduate studies and beyond, to working with individuals and families impacted by trauma, relationship challenges, and addiction. My experience spans a variety of clinical and community-based settings, allowing me to support clients with diverse needs and backgrounds.
I have experiences working with clients in many different settings: incarceration, community mental health, inpatient, court ordered programs, child advocacy and private practice.
I provide therapy to individuals, parents and children, couples, and families, including those navigating reunification. My areas of specialization include trauma, family conflict, anxiety, depression, addiction, LGBTQ+, autism spectrum co-occurring disorders, DID, and other mental health conditions In addition to my clinical work, I serve as an expert witness for Citrus, Marion, Lake, Hillsborough, and Hernando Counties.
Clients often describe me as down-to-earth, honest, empathic, and approachable, with a sense of humor that helps create a safe and comfortable therapeutic environment.
